This spring, third-year students in the Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine will get one step closer to their dreams when they receive their white coats. The White Coat Ceremony is an important juncture for our future veterinarians who are ready to affect the lives of animals and humans as they enter their clinical rotations.
Will you continue this special moment by sponsoring a student at this year's ceremony?
"This ceremony signifies a huge achievement in our professional careers as it marks the transition from countless hours of lectures, labs, and studying to actually getting to utilize our knowledge!"
- Clint Peacock, D.V.M. Candidate, Class of 2022
Connect with a student and lift up their journey!
Your gift of $100 honors the hard work of one student and makes possible the purchase and embroidery of their own white coat. This coat will symbolize the evolution of who they are and what they will become. Please consider playing a part in what is a meaningful moment in time for our young professionals. This year, our ceremony is back to being fully in person!
Along with your gift, we ask that you include a note of reflection from your own professional journey and words of encouragement for the student. We will place the note in the pocket of their coat to acknowledge their success, enhance their sense of accomplishment, and give them the encouragement to keep going. This is a chance for you to connect with them personally.
*Donors may be matched with a specific student upon request. Additional funds received beyond the 84 student sponsorships will support scholarship and wellness programs.
