As we get closer to the holiday season, we begin to recognize how thankful we are in our everyday lives. Sometimes we can overlook what we are thankful for but the moment its no longer available we recognize its value like access to clean water. Flint has been impacted over the years with unsafe drinking water. Unfortunately, our neighbors in Flint, MI are still without clean water. The Purdue Chapter of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) and the Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) have teamed up to deliver water to the residents of Flint this holiday season and we are asking you for your help. All proceeds will go to getting residents of flint clean water they will need to have a wonderful holiday season. Our efforts will help residents have a valid option to cook and provide residents with quality sanitation options. The water drive will go from October 13th-November 11th. MANRRS and BGSA members will deliver water products to Flint on November 12th. We hope you will consider our cause and efforts to ensure everyone has a joyous holiday season.
