ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Thank you for your interest in supporting Purdue Basketball by helping us make enhancements to Mackey Arena that will keep the Boilermakers competitive in the Big Ten and nationally - well into the future.
This crowdfunding site is an opportunity for everyone to make a difference, big or small, to fund $100k of our $3.5M overall goal for the entire Lights Out Campaign!
ADVANTAGES OF LED LIGHTS
- Allowed us to create a greater pregame and halftime atmosphere
- More extravagant player introductions impress recruits, who are making official or unofficial visits
- Turning off the lights will enable us to host future events to entertain fans and recruits
NEW VIDEO BOARD FEATURES
- 50% larger than the existing video board
- 8x the number of pixels as the existing video board
- Uses 6mm LED technology, doubling the resolution of the existing 12mm technology used in the current video board
- HD capable
NEW RIBBON BOARD AND HUSTLE BOARDS
- 700' LED video ribbon will circle the top of Mackey Arena
- Four new video-capable hustle boards in the upper corners of the arena
