The Purdue English Department’s “Big Read” brings the Lafayette community together through reading and literature. Each year, the program selects a book and distributes free copies to high school and college students, public and community libraries, and local residents.
In a fast-paced digital world, will you help our community appreciate the joy of reading?
The Big Read program is generously backed by the Harriet M. Crews and Sandra K. Biggs Endowment, but we need additional support to meet our annual needs. Along with distributing free books, the program creates a calendar of engaging events, including lectures, group discussions, performances, workshops, and author visits.
