Purdue Vertical Flight Systems (VFS) is a student-run, engineering design team that is dedicated to innovating the future of urban transportation. Our goal is to be the first organization to successfully build, test, and fly an electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing aircraft (eVTOL) capable of carrying one person, but we can't do it without you.
Will you help our team of Boilermakers use our engineering skills to change the world?
WHY DO WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT?
Purdue VFS is the only student organization in the country that has built and flown this scale of eVTOL. Our team is currently in the final phase of our first milestone project, which includes developing a prototype that is capable of flying for 15 minutes with a 25 lb payload onboard.
We believe our organization has a responsibility to continue educating the next generation of engineers through offering innovative projects like this one. However, due to the increasing costs of equipment and massive scale of the design, we need your help to keep going.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF eVTOL?
eVTOL can solve the issues of traffic congestion and environmentally unfriendly transportation methods that exist today. The aircraft uses electric power to hover, take off, and land vertically. Our hope is to send many talented Boilermaker engineers into the aerospace industry who will work to change the world by developing and improving the design of these aircrafts.
Your name will appear at the end of the prototype 1 vehicle's first flight video.
Your name will be placed on the prototype vehicle and in video.
Your name will be placed in our advertising materials as a bronze level sponsor. If you are a company, your logo will be also be placed on the vehicle.
