SUPPORT THE FUTURE OF PHARMACY

For 50 years, the Purdue chapter of American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists has improved health across campus.

As one of the largest and most active organizations in the College of Pharmacy, APhA-ASP prepares students for a career in pharmacy and provides them with the opportunity to invest in their futures. Today, we are offering you a chance to do the same.

Will you please consider supporting our future pharmacists as they travel to the APhA2023 Annual Meeting and Exposition?

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?

Every spring, numerous Purdue pharmacy students have the opportunity to attend the APhA Annual Meeting and Exposition. This year's meeting is in Phoenix, Arizona. As one of the largest conferences in the nation, more than 6,000 people come together to advance the field of pharmacy.

However, the cost of attendance poses a barrier for several of our Boilermakers, which is why we are again asking for your help. Last year, we were able to support 12 members in attending the conference and we are hoping to increase that number in 2023.

All donations received will go toward travel expenses accrued by student pharmacists who attend the conference. With your gift, we can continue to learn, grow, and invest in the future of our profession. You can provide a Boilermaker with the chance to learn from experts across the country!

"Attending the Annual 2022 re-energized my passion to lead and advocate for our profession. I met diverse leaders and professionals from around the country that developed into lasting relationships, expanding my pharmacy community."

- Sarah Vas, President

"After a couple of years of attending virtual meetings, attending Annual 2022 was a breath of fresh air. During the sessions, I learned about the resources available from APhA and collaborated with students on how to increase engagement in our chapter."

- Yasmin Siwy, Patient Care VP

"Forming meaningful connections with other professionals is extremely important. Having good connections might be the deciding element when pursuing future career goals. "

- Juan Garcia, International VP
