Women Engineering Student Organizations (WESO) aims to create a stronger community among women in engineering. We are starting a new annual program, Women in Engineering (WE) Week, that will highlight several women-based student organizations at Purdue.
Will you join us in our mission to empower female engineers?
WHY DO WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT?
Women make up only 26% of the Purdue engineering undergraduate population, and we want to see this number rise. This event is a chance to celebrate Purdue women engineers and build a larger community, but we need your help to do it.
WE Week will take place during March, Women's History Month. Every day of the week will be hosted by a different WESO organization to highlight opportunities for women engineers on campus. We will hold demonstrations of technology, organize educational games, and offer food/swag to encourage interaction and conversation.
Your support will cover the various expenses of each organization's event. Please consider donating to this program and join us in our mission of empowering women in engineering!
WHO IS WESO?
WESO is made up of the Society of Women Engineers, Women in Mechanical Engineering, Women in Aeronautical Engineering, and Women in Nuclear Engineering student organizations.
**All donors who make a gift of $25 or more will receive a personalized thank you note.
Your gift allows us to bring in a guest speaker for an evening event.
