SHOWCASING PARALYMPIC EXCELLENCE

RIISE is a student organization that’s dedicated to showcasing Paralympic excellence and improving sports accessibility and performance. We imagine a world where all athletes at all levels have the means and support to play and perform at their full potential.

Our goal is to develop our own parts to help make the lives of those with disabilities better. This year, we have teamed up with Bechtel Corporation and a few engineering professors on campus to make those designs a reality! Can we count on you to help us?

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT?

We are designing two parts: a clutch that will go on an automobile to allow people with leg disabilities to drive and an add-on attachment to wheelchairs that will make them more sturdy. Your donation will go directly toward buying the supplies needed to produce these designs, including bolts to hold pieces together and the filament needed for 3D printing.

Please support us in our mission to pursue projects at the interface of inclusivity, sports, and engineering by making your gift today!
