Purdue FIRST Programs, established in 1999, is a collegiate FIRST Robotics alumni organization dedicated to supporting the wider FIRST (FRC) community in Indiana. We provide mentorship, outreach, and support to K-12 teams in our community.
We have been hosting events for FIRST Robotics Teams since the early 2000s. In 2017 we established Boiler Bot Battle, an off-season FRC competition where 32 high school robotics teams travel to West Lafayette, IN to compete.
This year, we're asking for your help to help make the event bigger and better!
WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?
Boiler Bot Battle is our biggest event, and is a great opportunity for freshman, rookie teams, and those interested in STEAM to get comfortable in the fast-paced FIRST competition environment. We are fundraising to enhance the quality of this event! We hope to accommodate more teams, provide more space, and create an area for our teams to practice. Our goal is to provide as many teams as possible with the chance to participate, while keeping costs affordable. Unfortunately, rising costs make it challenging to maintain this event without impacting participating teams financially, which is why we need your support!
