HELP US CELEBRATE OUR GRADUATES

The Aeronautical and Astronautical Student Advisory Council (AAESAC) is the connection point between the AAE student body and the department. Our mission is to support the students through career and social events or Purdue internal mentorship. With over 20 years of events under our belts and deep connections within the department, we have a bright vision for the future students in the top ranked (and best!) Aerospace Engineering department in the country.

Right now, there is no formal celebration or reception for the graduating students of Purdue AAE. Will you join us in our mission to bring it back this year?

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT?

The graduating senior banquet has been an event in the past, typically held by the AAE department. However, since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event has been sadly sidelined and forgotten about. Fulfilling our mission to support our colleagues in the AAE department, AAESAC decided this event should be brought back. Our goal is to hold an event that all seniors can reminisce and laugh about, even 20 years down the road!

This reception would give AAE students the opportunity to celebrate perhaps the biggest achievement of their life with their friends and mentors. It is a chance to celebrate the friendships they’ve made, and hopefully make a few new ones before embarking on their successful career as a Purdue Engineer.

All donations will go directly toward covering the costs of the event. If we reach our goal or exceed it, we will be able to further decorate the event, create merchandise for the event, and potentially bring in entertainment or activities for guests.
