HELP US COMPETE

Welcome to Purdue Solar Racing (PSR)! We are a student-led, non-profit organization specializing in the building and racing of solar cars. We also host and partake in outreach events focused on teaching the community in and around Purdue University about solar energy and solar cars.  

We saw great success in the Shell Eco-marathon, earning second place in their efficiency challenge with our previous car, Apollo. Currently, we are building Lux, our most advanced solar car to date, to compete in the American Solar Challenge. But we need your help!

OUR ASK

What we are asking for in this campaign is funding for state-of-the-art solar cells to help us power Lux throughout the competition. Lux has been a labor of love for our organization thus far, taking all our time and energy to engineer it to perfection. Your contribution would play an integral role in Lux’s success as a sustainable, energy efficient vehicle.
