YEAR: Junior
MAJOR: Industrial Engineering
ROLE: Philanthropy
My Aunt Jenny passed away from breast cancer when I was young and ever since I have been passionate about raising awareness and funds for support of those who are affected with cancer. In middle school, I was involved in Relay for Life which benefitted the American Cancer Society. In high school, my friend and I founded a capstone called "JR Color Run" that raised $7,000 for the American Cancer Society through a 5K Color Run. One of the main reasons I joined a fraternity was to give back through philanthropy and Buzz-A-Beta has allowed our house a platform to help with something bigger than us. I am excited about what this year holds and how much of an impact we can have! Thank you for considering making a donation to help me and my fraternity reach our goal and make a difference through the Tyler Trent Foundation!
