SPONSOR A WOMAN WRESTLER

Women’s wrestling is the fastest growing high school sport in the US, yet there are very few programs girls can pursue after they graduate. The Women’s Wrestling Club of Purdue (WWCP) aims to fill this gap by offering a platform for women to pursue freestyle wrestling in a D1 environment. We're seeking support to fund travel, practice, and competitions, and to advance gender equality in sports. Can we count on you to join us?

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT?

Our club is committed to excellence in freestyle wrestling and personal development both on and off the mats. We offer a welcoming environment for students to learn and improve their wrestling skills, leadership, and teamwork.

Any donations received will help cover USA Wrestling memberships, tournament fees, travel, equipment, first aid materials, and future fundraising efforts. With these funds, we can make the sport accessible and affordable for our athletes.

What started out as a quick meeting among five like-minded individuals aimed at promoting women’s wrestling at Purdue has grown into a membership of nearly 45 dedicated athletes. In just one semester, we’ve secured practice space, participated in tournaments, and gained national recognition.

As a new club, we need $10,000 to cover essential costs. Without this support, financial barriers may prevent students from participating. Your generosity can help provide opportunities for women to wrestle and represent Purdue University.

Thank you in advance for your support!
