My name is Eli Fangman and I am a freshman here at Purdue. I am passionate about Beta because I believe it's core foundations. The most important to me is mutual assistance. I believe that extends to each member of the fraternity but also to anyone I can help it reach. My grandmother died of colon cancer when I was young. She was a kind woman with a beautiful soul full of light. Seeing what cancer did to her and our family was terrible and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.  Whatever I can do to help end this terrible disease I believe I am obligated to do.
