Hello, my name is Kade Hasen, and I am currently a new member at the fraternity Beta Theta Pi. I am participating in the Beta Buzz Fundraiser to raise money for the Tyler Trent Foundation, which specializes in cancer research. Cancer is something that has directly affected me, which is why I am looking to raise money for its research. My grandfather died of lung cancer when I was only 8 years old, so I never truly had the opportunity to get to know him well. I am hoping that the money I raise will aid in the effort to end cancer, so that other children don’t have to suffer the same experience I did regarding their loved ones. I’m glad to be participating in something greater than myself alongside the distinguished men of Beta Theta Pi, and I hope you feel the same way when donating.  I want you to know that your contributions are going to a good cause.
