My name is Andrew York and I’m from Northbrook, Illinois. Beta Theta Pi’s “Buzz-A-Beta” is truly a one of a kind event. This year, all of the funds that Beta will be raising will be going to the Tyler Trent Foundation for cancer research. I’m extremely passionate about fundraising for cancer in particular because of a close family member who passed away from the horrible disease. I’d love to give up my time, money, and hair to support this cause and raise a substantial amount of money for the people battling with cancer.
