We’re excited to share what we’re doing at Women in Aviation International (WAI) at Purdue! Our mission is all about creating a diverse workforce in aviation and aerospace while inspiring the next generation of female aviators. Since our chapter started in 1994—just like WAI itself—we’ve proudly continued the legacy of trailblazers like Amelia Earhart.
One of our favorite events is Girls in Aviation Day, where we introduce young girls to the world of aviation through hands-on activities and mentorship. We want to keep this event free for all participants, ensuring that girls from every background can explore these amazing opportunities.
