My name is Henry Claypool, I am from Des Moines, IA. I am proud to be buzzing my head in honor of Tyler Trent, the ultimate Boilermaker, as a part of a fundraiser for the Tyler Trent Foundation. I am also proud to be participating in this philanthropy with my fraternity Beta Theta Pi. Tyler Trent is a symbol of strength and perseverance that transcends Purdue University. His battle with cancer inspired so many across the country and world.  I am honored to be a part of Beta Theta Pi which supports important causes like this and provides me  the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. I have personally had someone in my family go through a battle with cancer at a young age. The worries and uncertainty is something I would not wish upon anyone. My personal family experience makes this effort extra special for me.  Please know that any money you can spare will make a world of difference in the  lives of those facing a cancer battle and the families that support them. To buzz my hair is such a small act, but hopefully it encourages all of us to give where we can and spread kindness where it’s needed most.
