ASME Robotics is passionate about supporting our members in pursuing interesting engineering challenges, aiding their professional development, and providing opportunities to genuinely connect to the greater Purdue community. We are one of the oldest student organizations in Purdue. The Robotics design team, however, was formed in Fall 2023, as the primary way for ASME to provide its students experience in computer, electric, and systems engineering to prepare engineers for careers in robotics, manufacturing, and other multidisciplinary fields.
Our mission is to develop a Mars Rover for a competition in Canada and provide team members with experience in mechanical engineering, design, electronics, manufacturing, and programming.
WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Our goal is to compete in an international rover design competition, but we need your help getting there. Your support will go towards travel and lodging expenses so we can afford to send the team to the competition. Without your help, we cannot guarantee our members that their project will compete in its intended competition, and the team may shut down.
Our robot has gone through a 3-year design cycle. Your support ensures it can compete in its intended competition!
Thank you for your support!
