Launching Spectre with PSP Hybrids
LAUNCH PURDUE'S MOST POWERFUL HYBRID ROCKET YET
Purdue Space Program – Hybrids (PSP Hybrids) is building Spectre, the most powerful hybrid rocket ever designed by Purdue students! Our members design and build propulsion systems, fluid systems, avionics, structures, and simulations, gaining real-world engineering experience every step of the way. After years of development, we’re nearly at the finish line and with your support, we’ll launch Spectre in competition at FAR-OUT 2026 this summer.
WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Spectre represents years of design, testing, and teamwork. Now, the only thing standing between us and the competition launch pad is funding. Your support will help cover:
- Build materials for final assembly
- Test equipment for verification and safety
- Transportation costs to attend FAR-OUT 2026
Without crowdfunding support, PSP Hybrids won’t be able to compete this summer and years of hard work will stay grounded.
Every donation, big or small, helps make Spectre a reality. By supporting PSP Hybrids, you’re not only backing Purdue’s next chapter in rocketry, but you’re helping students gain the skills and experience that will carry them into the aerospace industry and beyond.
Join us in launching Spectre and help Purdue Hybrids reach new heights!
