Thank you for your contribution to Purdue Formula SAE! Your support will help us have a greater impact on the students on our team and prepare them for their future career. We had an amazing turnout of 69 donors and $9,770 in donations, which was 126% of our $7,600 goal. Your support has played an important role in the campaign’s success!
As you know, we started the fundraiser to raise money for engine modifications but will use the additional money for more improvements across the car. New features for our 2024 vehicle include a custom steering rack, a CAN expander to record additional sensors, multiple engine modifications, switch to E85, and vehicle testing using strain gauges. All these improvements are working towards our team goals of continuously challenging ourselves technically, winning overall at competition, and most importantly setting the team up for future success through robust education, documentation, culture, and financials.
